Experience

Over the past years, it was my goal to try as many interesting things as I can to see what I really like. This mission has brought me down many exciting paths and led me to meet many great people.

One of the first areas that really grabbed me and never really let me go was technology. An early job experience of mine was being the IT administrator at the High School I attended. There I worked hard to ensure the day-to-day functioning of hardware, software, and network in order to facilitate learning. It showed me what an impact technology can have on the world, and how professional IT systems work on a fundamental level. These thoughts still guide me to this day.

As a logical next step, I wanted to try my hand at Fintech. Using technology to change the way that traditional financial institutions are run today. It led me to work at an early-stage Fintech Startup, where I learned about many of the processes of developing digital products from scratch, running an entrepreneurial venture, and analyzing market and customer data. I continued working at a larger Fintech company and learned more about data analysis and how much it matters in all kinds of processes when running an entrepreneurial venture.

With the dire situation of the climate crisis, like many of my peers, I decided to use what I know about data and technology to work in the field of sustainability. Contributing to a green energy company allowed me to understand many of the moving pieces that enable and hinder our transition to renewables.

However, only once I started exploring academics at Copenhagen Business School I found what I was looking for before. I really enjoy the feel of community, the international environment, and the focus on using business to make the world a better place. At CBS, in addition to pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business and technology and a Master’s in innovation, it is one of my top priorities to give back and improve student life. I have spent considerable time being a part of the student union, study board, introduction week team, graduation planning, and student societies. I also had the opportunity to pursue an exchange at the University of Michigan and to be inspired by its excellent faculty and course catalog.

If you would like to collaborate on projects in any of the mentioned areas, please feel free to reach out!
