It’s more fun to be a pirate, than to join the navy.
-Steve Jobs
It was always my conviction that life is more fun and meaningful when you take the road less traveled and approach things a little differently than most. It can be challenging, but you also learn a lot and who doesn’t like that?
This conviction has led me to explore many exciting avenues, especially around tech and innovation. My love for tech really took off when I became my high school’s network administrator as a teen. There I experienced what an effect well-thought-out, and seamlessly implemented technology can have on people and society. This idea led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree combining business and technology, and a Master’s adding innovation into the mix, to further explore how to manage tech and how it can be used to better our world.
My degree at Copenhagen Business School has also developed my interest in academics. I realized how much I enjoyed the world of research and decided to combine the topics of innovation and technology for my first projects. On the side, I tried different areas of work around sustainability, finance, and technology to explore the practical implications of my studies. It also became a personal objective of mine to improve the university’s study environment by becoming a part of the student union, study board, introduction week team, and student societies.
I also really enjoy kicking back with some Star Wars, video games, or Formula One in my time off. In good and in bad times, and since I was a small child, they were able to make me smile, believe in myself, and inspire me.
